A welcoming Children’s Centre
The "Marmottons Children's Centre" welcomes children aged 18 months to 12 years in a warm, safe and caring environment. We offer a range of options tailored to each age group, from afternoon childcare (morning childcare is not available) to packages combining ski lessons, childcare and meals.
Whether for half a day or a full day, with or without lunch, every child enjoys a balanced programme of activities, relaxation and mountain adventures, all under the supervision of qualified early years professionals.

Meals for children
A day in the mountains works up quite an appetite, which is why we take great care over the meals we provide for children aged 2 years and over.
- Our lunches are freshly prepared by our caterer, L'Authentique Maison Retornaz, with balanced, tasty menus adapted to each age group.
- The weekly menu is displayed at the Les Marmottons Children's Centre.
- For everyone's comfort and safety, all meals are provided by ESF Valloire (unless otherwise stated).
- Please remember to complete and return the medical information form so that we can cater for your child's individual needs with complete peace of mind.
- Please note: Lunch is available only for children aged 2 years and over. Children aged 18 to 24 months cannot be enrolled for lunch.
Toddlers aged 18 months and over
Childcare only
At the Les Marmottons Children's Centre, toddlers aged 18 months and over are looked after by qualified early years professionals every afternoon from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Please note that morning childcare is not available.
In a warm, safe and caring environment, little ones discover the mountains at their own pace through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities (no skiing). Play, creative activities, quiet time and early learning are all part of a programme designed to support their well-being and development.

Before your child's first day
- Please complete the health information form and hand it in to the staff at the “Les Marmottons” Children’s Centre on the first day, or on Saturday from 4.30 pm during the drop-in session at the nursery. This is strongly recommended to avoid the Sunday morning rush.
- You must bring your child’s health record and their identity card.
- Please bring: warm clothes, a hat, gloves, sunglasses, sun cream, indoor shoes, a comfort blanket and a comfortable outfit for indoors.
- All personal belongings must be labelled with the child’s name.
- For very young children, please provide nappies if necessary, labelled with the child’s name.
- For afternoon childcare, we provide a snack .

Children aged 2½ and over enjoy gentle, personalised care before or after their ski lessons. Our instructors escort children to and from the Ourson Piou-Piou Club, located just 50 metres from the Children's Centre.
Each half-day programme combines 1½ hours of skiing with 1½ hours of supervised activities. Morning activities take place indoors, while afternoon activities include tobogganing, snow games, the merry-go-round and more.
For added convenience, you can also choose a package including lunch from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

For children aged 4 to 12, we offer all-inclusive packages combining ski lessons, lunch and childcare. It's the perfect way for children to enjoy a full day in the mountains, improving their skiing, having fun with friends and making the most of their holiday, while you enjoy the slopes with complete peace of mind.
Whether they've booked morning, afternoon or full-day lessons, our teams provide continuous supervision before, after and between lessons.

- Please ensure all personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name.
- An afternoon snack is included.
- Please take your child either to the lesson meeting point or directly to the Les Marmottons Children's Centre, depending on the package you have booked. For morning and afternoon lesson packages, children should be taken to the lesson meeting point.
